Central Zone cruise to victory
Central Zone have cruised to a 60 point win against Northern in the Grand Final of the SA Country Zone Championships played at Memorial Oval in Port Pirie.
Former North Adelaide and SANFL state team member Leigh Ryswyk, was instrumental for Central and was part of a trio of winners that tied for the Don McSweeney Medal as player of the Championships.
Western Zone duo Xavier Watson and key forward Sid Masters (7 goals for the championships) joined Ryswyk with the honour.

Sarah Klau makes Diamonds debut
South Australia’s Sarah Klau has made her Australian Diamond’s debut in a 64-goal demolition of Northern Ireland at the Netball World Cup at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena.
It was a dominant display by the Diamonds who shot an incredible 88 goals from 92 shots while allowing just nine second half goals to Northern Ireland, with final scores 88-24.
