Adelaide Thunderbirds have started 2015 in great form going through an invitational tournament undefeated, played today at Netball SA Stadium.
They won a hard fought final against an Invitational 7, 36-28.
New recruits Nicola Gray and Amy Steel looked in good form and Thunderbirds supporters should be excited.
Former Queenslander, Gray, looked strong playing her Wing Attack position, hitting the circle hard and she shows some really good finesse on her passes into Carla Borrego.
The 190cm Defender Amy Steel gave the Thunderbirds a new look in defence working well with Sam Poolman.
English recruit and Thunderbirds only import Eboni Beckford-Chambers will arrive in Adelaide on Monday after her international duties.
The Thunderbirds are also waiting on Carla Borrego's Australian Citizenship which is expected to be ready for Round 1.
Borrego's class showed again today along with Erin Bell who compliments the duo inside the attacking third.
Adelaide arguably have their strongest depth for a few seasons this year.
Players like vice captain Leigh Waddington and Eboni Beckford-Chambers will add to the already strong line up displayed today.
Throughout the day the Thunderbirds defeated the Invitational 7, Victoria Mixed Cyclones and the Thunderbabes.
There was a great crowd in attendance today to see their stars in action before their season kicks off on Saturday, February 28 against Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic.
