Sarah Klau makes Diamonds debut
South Australia’s Sarah Klau has made her Australian Diamond’s debut in a 64-goal demolition of Northern Ireland at the Netball World Cup at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena. It was a dominant display by the Diamonds who shot an incredible 88 goals from 92 shots while allowing just nine second half goals to Northern Ireland, with final scores 88-24. Australia scored freely from the start of the match, pouring in 24 first quarter goals, Northern Ireland struggled mightily to crack an Australian defensive unit lead by the newest Diamond Sarah Klau, who took four of Australia's eight intercepts for the match.
